Power Blasting was the first abrasive blasting company in North Queensland to successfully obtain an EPA license for ERA (23C) Abrasive Blasting - Yard complex Mareeba & ERA (23C) Itinerant Abrasive Blasting - mobile plant, on site works. Power Blasting has a very strong commitment to Workplace Health and Safety and has a full time Health & Safety / Quality Assurance officer. We have a comprehensive Health, Safety & Environmental policy. Power Blasting engages a strong focus on industry standards, statutory regulations, and legislation which are constantly researched, reviewed and maintained as part of our Quality Assurance commitment to our clients. We are Quality Assured to AS NZS ISO 9001:2000. Abrasive Blasting is tested to AS 1627.4 & AS 8503.2. Industrial Spray Painting is tested to AS 3894.3 All information is compiled in Power Blasting's Manufacturers Data Report and issued to our clients. We comply with the Queensland Government Workplace Health & Safety Act 1995 and the Abrasive Blasting Industry Code of Practice 2004. Power Blasting is compliant with the National Code of Practice for the construction industry and has registered Australian workplace agreements with the department of Employment and Workplace Relations. |
